In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and toss until well coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes while you prepare your asparagus.
On a large baking sheet or oven-safe skillet, place the marinated chicken breasts in the center. Surround them with asparagus.
Roast in the preheated oven for about 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
For the last 5 minutes, turn on the broiler to give the chicken a golden finish.
Once it's done, sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve with lemon slices on the side.
