  • 4 cups water
  • 2 fresh oranges, sliced
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • Honey or sugar to taste
  • Ice cubes
  • Mint leaves (optional, for garnish)

  • Instructions

  • Start by boiling 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Once boiling, remove it from heat and add your tea bags. Allow the tea to steep for about 5-7 minutes.
  • While your tea is steeping, slice your fresh oranges and juice one of them if you want a stronger citrus taste.
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in the cinnamon sticks and the orange juice. If you’re using honey or sugar, add it now and stir until dissolved.
  • Let the tea cool to room temperature, then transfer it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 1-2 hours.
  • Serve over ice in glasses and garnish with orange slices and mint leaves.
