- 1 lb. thinly sliced steak (ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1-2 jalapeños, sliced
- Optional: Sliced mushrooms
- Optional: Hot sauce
- Garnishes: Chopped fresh parsley or chives, sour cream
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients by chopping onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Preheat a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add oil to the skillet, then the sliced steak. Sear for 3-4 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
- Sauté onion and bell pepper in the same skillet for about 5 minutes, then add garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Return the steak to the skillet, pour in beef broth, and simmer briefly.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted, then gradually add cheddar and mozzarella cheeses until fully melted and creamy.
- Serve the dip warm with soft pretzels for dipping, garnished with parsley or chives and a dollop of sour cream.
Notes
Feel free to customize with different cheeses or add spice with jalapeños. Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 3 days.
