Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
- Mix the cold, cubed butter into the flour until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled sausage to the flour mixture, stirring gently to combine.
- Pour in the milk and mix until just combined; do not overwork the dough.
- Drop large spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
