Description
Enjoy tender pulled beef and gooey cheddar sliders, perfect for gatherings or a cozy night in.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds of beef chuck roast
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 12 slider buns
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients: dice the onion and mince the garlic. Season the beef with salt and pepper. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium-high heat. Sear the beef chuck roast for about 5 minutes on each side until browned. Remove the roast and set aside.
- Add diced onions to the pot and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in garlic, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and barbecue sauce, and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pot, pour in the beef broth, cover, and move to the preheated oven. Cook for about 3-4 hours or until fork-tender.
- Shred the beef using two forks and mix it back into the remaining sauce.
- Assemble by slicing the slider buns and placing a generous amount of pulled beef on the bottom half. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and more barbecue sauce if desired.
- Place the tops on the buns and put them in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to melt the cheese.
Notes
For added flavor, consider toping with fresh cilantro or green onions. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to three days.
