Description

Elevate Brussels sprouts into a culinary masterpiece with this simple recipe, featuring a sweet and tangy balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Brussels Sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Salt (to taste)
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper (to taste)
  • ¼ cup Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced (optional)
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare the Brussels sprouts by trimming the ends and cutting in half. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
  2. Toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. If using, add minced garlic.
  3. Spread them on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown, stirring halfway through.
  4. Combine balsamic vinegar and brown sugar in a saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes until the glaze thickens.
  5. Remove the Brussels sprouts from the oven, drizzle with balsamic glaze, and toss to coat.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven for best results.
