  • 2 pounds of breakfast sausage
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or your choice)
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (like chives or parsley)
  • Optional: Hot sauce or spicy mustard

  • Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, crumble and cook the breakfast sausage until browned, about 8-10 minutes.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and then remove from heat.
  • Whisk the eggs until light and frothy, pour them into the skillet, and cook, stirring occasionally until the eggs are soft and fluffy.
  • Cut the slider buns in half and place the bottom halves in a baking dish.
  • Layer the sausage and egg mixture over the buns and sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Place the top halves of the buns on the cheese mixture. Optionally, brush melted butter on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the tops are golden.
  • Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
