Ingredients

  • 10 oz of fresh spinach
  • 1 can (14 oz) of artichoke hearts, drained
  • 8 oz of cream cheese
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • ½ tsp of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for sautéing

  • Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large pot over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil and sauté the garlic for about a minute until it’s fragrant.
  • Add the fresh spinach and cook for a few minutes, stirring until it wilts down.
  • Toss in the drained and chopped artichoke hearts, and let them warm through for another couple of minutes.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach and artichokes with the cream cheese, mozzarella, and Parmesan.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased baking dish and smooth the top.
  • Bake in your preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is bubbling and slightly golden.
  • Let it sit for a few minutes before serving with pita chips.
