- 1 large sourdough loaf
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the sourdough loaf into a grid pattern without slicing all the way through.
- Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, thyme, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Drizzle the mixture into the cuts of the loaf, then tuck in the mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and golden. Let rest before serving.
Notes
Consider adding crushed red pepper flakes for heat or different cheeses for flavor variations. Serve warm for the best experience.
