1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
1 cup fresh figs (sliced)
1 large onion (thinly sliced)
1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper (to taste)
Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, seasoning with a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Place the rolled-out dough on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Start with a layer of mozzarella cheese, then add the caramelized onions and sliced figs.
